The Reinforced Earth Company (RECO) is currently providing the design and supply of 1043sqm of Reinforced Earth® retaining walls for the Gateway Upgrade North Project.   The walls are part of a project which will provide additional traffic lanes for 11.3km along the Gateway Motorway, from Deagon to Bracken Ridge, in south eastern Queensland.   This photograph, taken on site in July, shows the first row of TerraPlus® precast concrete panels installed for a Reinforced Earth® wall which will eventually reach a height of 7.5m and length of 180m.   RECO has also been awarded the design and supply of another 800sqm of Reinforced Earth® retaining walls for a second RSS wall on the project.

Level Crossing Removal Project - Ormond & Bentleigh Stations

By Janet Bolt

Aug 2016

The Reinforced Earth Company (RECO) has completed the manufacture & delivery of 440 tonnes of structural precast concrete products for the Level Crossing Removal Project - Ormond & Bentleigh Stations, in Victoria.   The units (pictured here during manufacturing) included 138 platform coping stones, 20 ramp panels, and 29 balustrade units.  The timing of manufacturing & delivery was very rigid as the works in progress disrupted rail services on the busy Frankston railway line.   Congratulations to RECO's teams in our Melbourne Office and RECO Precast Facility in Albury who coordinated the project and achieved all targets on time.   Follow this link to view the timelapse of works on Bentleigh Station.
